When i was young and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would answer without hesitating – a brain surgeon. I was always deeply curious to know how the brain worked, and to help people use their brains to the maximum. I have been on a life long journey to do that. I studied physical anthropology at Columbia with the well-known anthropologist, Margaret Mead, who took an interest in the field work I did with traditional healers, voodoo, and mind control, and recommended me for a project at the National Institute of Health in Washington DC. It was the beginning of biofeedback treatments in the US. From there, I began doing intercultural training in 50 different countries for a wide gamut of world financial industries and organizations - financial, energy, telecoms, the US Army, European Parliament, United Nations, and Olympic athletes- while I took a very deep dive into Neuroscience, adding over 13 areas of certification and application to my trainings. It has been a privilege to share my knowledge, and learn from my clients in an unending information exchange of learning, growth and understanding. I do that by lecturing, writing books, and developing mind+body+culture games for adult learning. I hope you will visit one of our Retreats in Provence, France.

A recognized thought leader, Shannon is co-author of the book Neuroscience of Inclusion: New Skills for New Times, and the BrainStates Awareness Profile. She has successfully created and implemented large-scale training initiatives, training tens of thousands of employees with companies like Deloitte, Medtronic, CHRISTUS Health System, Barr Engineering, Deluxe, and others. She has an M.A. in Intercultural Management and Leadership Development. In 2012, she achieved Advanced Certification as a NeuroBusiness coach at Harvard. She is certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Quantum Healing. She loves traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her daughters.
